Intake24 is an open source online 24-hour dietary assessment tool based on the 24-hour recall method and primarily designed for self-completion.
Intake24 was originally developed in the UK by Newcastle University, with funding from Foods Standards Scotland. Intake24 continues to be developed and provided by the University of Cambridge (UK) and Monash University (Australia), working in collaboration with external partners.
In the UK, Intake24 is used for dietary data collection in the UK National Diet and Nutrition Survey (NDNS). Internationally the tool has been adapted for France, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Caribbean, Malawi, UAE and South Asia (Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh).
