SUMMARY:ADDITION Study Public Meetings
DESCRIPTION:During June and July 2012 the MRC Epidemiology Unit held a series of public meetings for volunteers who are taken part in the ADDITION Study. More than 800 volunteers across the Eastern Region are participating in the ADDITION treatment study\, and we were really pleased in the level of interest these five meetings\, which were held at: \n\nThe Maltings\, Ely on 11th June\nThe Bull Hotel\, Peterborough on 13th June\nChurchill College\, Cambridge on 25th June\nQuendon Hall\, Essex on 2nd July\nRavenwood Hall\, Bury St Edmunds on 16th July\n\nEach evening started with a presentation from one of the principal investigators of the study\, outlining the findings of the first 5 years of the study\, the contribution this unique study will have in the longer term and our plans for the study in the future.
